Have you been avoiding your supply closet because the mess is overwhelming? Here are 3 steps you need to take for organizing your ministry supplies!
Have you ever bought paper plates for an event and then discovered you had 200 left from the last event? Or you were sure there was enough coffee at the church, but when you opened the cabinet, you found an empty container?
It’s time to get organized! You’ll need to invest some time to get started, but you’ll save yourself and your team time and money in the long run.
Simple 3-Step Process For Organizing Your Ministry Supplies
- Invest in plastic tubs with lids.
- Attach a small photo album sheet to the front of each tub. (You can purchase a $1 photo album at a discount store and remove the photo sheets.)
- Place an index card in each photo sleeve that categorizes and inventories the contents of each tub. Categories might include Paper Products, Craft Supplies, Goody Bag Items, and so on.
If your team agrees to keep the information updated as you use and restock supplies, you’ll save everyone time (and money!) as you plan events and groups.
