Take a moment to read these Bible verses and reflect.

Isaiah 41:10 says, “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”

Psalm 22:55 tell us, “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”

These may be familiar verses to you, as they are to me. They are ones I can quickly go to when a friend is in need. To remind her of God’s greatness and the comfort we have in his presence. Yet, sometimes as women it’s easier to pray for a friend, or include a Scripture in a card for someone else than to take the time to realize God’s Words are for us.

For you. For me. For this moment. In this situation. He is with us, He will strengthen us, help us, and hold us. Personalize this by saying it aloud. God is with me. God will strengthen me, help me, and hold me.

Bring your cares and fears to the Lord. He is with you. He will sustain you.

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter 5:7

God, today I am handing my worries and fears to you. I know you care about me. Amen.
