Could you use a breath of fresh air today?
Wow, we sure could! We’ve had so much going on! With events going on here at Group (and other places!), meetings to plan new products, a new retreat theme to release and create all the stuff that goes with it, our team barely sees each other coming and going. Then you add on personal stuff, like kids, grand kids doctors appointments, school obligations, and so on, and we’re feeling a little buried. We’re excited—of course! But also feeling the need to catch our breath! Can you relate??
I love this verse in 2 Timothy: “May the Lord grant [His] mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, for he often showed me kindness and ministered to my needs [comforting and reviving and bracing me like fresh air]!” (1:16 AMP) It’s encouraging to realize that even Paul needed some help; some comfort, kindness, a breath of fresh air. That makes me feel better.
Let’s challenge ourselves to get the fresh air we need this week. Maybe you need a heart-to-heart with a friend or colleague. Or a long walk. Or just a few minutes of peace and quiet. Or maybe we can be the breath of fresh air someone else needs…
